Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were newly refurbished to a high standard, offering comfort with a few maintenance issues in the bathroom sink tap. The bed was cozy, and the lovely bathroom was spotlessly clean. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious.
I had a great stay at the hotel, enjoying the well-proportioned rooms and the very nice breakfast area overlooking the river. The service was friendly and efficient, with a special thanks to Paul for the fantastic hospitality. The location was lovely, albeit a bit far from where my meetings were. The dining experience was good, with tasty gyu-don dishes. The facilities were top-notch, adding to the overall positive experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, with clean and modern rooms that were just superb, although the noise from the kitchen extractor was a downside. The restaurant comes highly recommended, and the service was top-notch.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The newly decorated room on the 3rd floor was faultless, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. The food in the bar was delicious and offered great value. If I ever find myself in the area again, this hotel would be my top choice without a doubt.
The hotel is located on the harbor side of town, a fair walk from the seafront and town attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, albeit slightly small for a double room, but done to a very good standard. The service is super friendly and efficient, especially with Emma, the assistant manager, going above and beyond to assist. The location, though in need of attention, offers a warm luxurious ambiance with leather sofas and chairs. Dining in the Star's River Room restaurant was delightful with a great choice of menu options. Facilities are well-maintained, albeit with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was lovely overall. The rooms were very nice with comfy beds and very clean and tidy, although mine had a window facing the hotel's wall, which was not ideal but manageable. The service on the 23rd and 24th Nov was very helpful and accommodating, and the staff continued to keep up an excellent standard throughout. The location, although a bit of a way from my meetings, was comfortable and had a warm luxurious feeling with leather sofas and chairs. The dining experience was delightful with a great choice of menu, offering a lovely view of one of the oldest parts of the town. The facilities were also satisfactory, making my stay enjoyable.
The hotel is situated by the River Yare, providing a contemporary and spacious stay with newly refurbished rooms overlooking the river. While some rooms may still have a hint of fresh paint, the high standard is evident. The service is impeccable, with the Management and Staff going above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The location might be a bit of a walk from certain areas, but the relaxing ambiance and historic surroundings of Great Yarmouth make up for it. Dining by the river offers tasty and hot dishes with great value for money, although service finishes a bit early. The facilities are top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The hotel offers clean and beautifully decorated rooms, ideal for weddings and short stays, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The location near the historic side of Great Yarmouth can be a bit noisy, and the service is still a work in progress. The dining experience is tasty with good quality choices but could have more portions, and guests may find the scaffolding outside a downside.
Overlooking the river, my room at the very top of the hotel was super clean, bright, and airy, all thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. However, I would have preferred a front room facing the river. The strange sliding door without handrails was a bit odd.
The hotel exudes a lovely atmosphere with spotlessly clean rooms and friendly staff. The location offers a luxurious feel and has its own private car park, but it may be a bit far for those with set plans. Dining provides good value with a picturesque view, though some items may run out during breakfast. Overall, a charming place with great potential.
